Exhaust
Hey gang,
I have head a lot of complaints about exhaust swap over/change issues, ie drone, too loud... I want a little more rumble but not lots, but is this possible with a v-6? May be a bad idea but has anyone try a S6 stock exhaust on? Will it fit? Has anyone out there tried this, results?
Thanks,
Bob

Cut out both resonators, straight pipe area where the first one was, put an x-pipe (Magnaflow!!!) where the back one is, and leave the stock mufflers... This setup is the way to go!

Because the S4 had a lot of rasp on the car, from what i read you gotta push the xpipe as far to the front of the car as you can and the magnaflow xpipe has narrow angles on the pipes.
So its basically the downpipe resonators straight through and then the Centre one to xpipe.

Has anyone ever replaced the exhaust tips only? I would love to get rid of the chrome tips that are on my 2017 Competition, and instead put quad pipes like on an S6. feedback is appreciated - thanks

My tips are are dual that were sourced in the EU and they have a single input. See my avatar. You will need to change the rear bumper valance, which is the biggest expense. The advantage is that it sounds the same as stock and does not violate the visual smog inspection that is mandated by some states.
