I doubt it. I have to assume the CD is officially now in the same position as the 8-track (or at least the cassette). On the other hand, maybe this one last time the CD player will be included to allow ripping to a hard drive.

It just seems that the IOS and Android phones (and in car internet connectivity) pretty much make CHIO's son's question the most probable reason for not having one.

I have a CD in my 2014 -- I copied a bunch of CD's to the hard drive (initially) and pressed the "mix" button. Then I got an iPhone.

It sounds wonderful. I love the B&O in my A4. I've set 3D to the middle option. Beats the crap out of the Bose in my A7.

I did not enjoy the 3D effect in my Boxster. I hope the B&O will give better results

I'm actually not a fan of the 3D effect per se. I'd had it turned off initially and then wondered what it would sound like. Sounds kinda weird in the highest setting but in the middle setting, it is fine.

Same. I didn't like it in high but sometimes I like it on low.
