I searched but did not find much. Has anyone added these to their car? Did it come with your car?



Not sure if Prestige S3 comes with these but think it would make for a nice touch with the illuminated BO speakers

well I do not have an S3, I have a 16 A3 premium plus and mine did not come with illuminated sill plates but I bought them for about $400.00. They are wireless and work on batteries and a magnet that sticks to the bottom of the door that triggers the light. On mine only the A3 lights up as you see in the picture. I believe they come on the prestige with LED package but don't quote me

My 2017 A3 came with it, don't know if its because I got the "Premium Plus Package" option?

They came on my 17 s3 premium plus

go figure that I got my 16 premium plus 3 months before the 17's came out. No virtual cockpit, no illuminated dash standard = screwed !!!

True, but the '16s Premium Plus had the option choice for the S-Line body package and LED Headlights, those options were Prestige only for the '15 model year.
