Default I'm new so don't hurt me/2014 info

Glad to be here. Going to carmax{I know} to test a 2014 S5 Prestige. $38k/28k miles. What should I look for or ask about this car. Have drove one before. Price seems ok. Thanks for any advice.

Have it checked out by an Audi tech before committing.

Depending on a number of variables you didn't list (options, location and actual condition) the prices range from $32K-$35K for a trade-in to $36K for a private party sale. You can look at kbb.com or edmunds.com to get an idea how others would value the car.

Default Also, how long has the car been on sale?

Recent listing is often high notwithstanding limited editions S5. If the car was CPO fine for 38$. I wouldn't buy an Audi without a warranty.

CPO is not available when purchasing from a non-Audi dealer but this car would still have the remaining factory warranty.

Punch its VIN here: https://www.vehiclehistory.com/vehicle/land.php

You'll get lots more info than at CARFAX.

It's interesting it wasn't sold by an Audi dealer and perhaps CPO wouldn't be available for 2014 vehicle.

If it were being sold by an Audi dealer, so long as it was under 60K miles and within 5 model years, it would be eligible for a CPO. At additional cost of course.
