Driver footwell light

Driver footwell light
Hello , I have the option of extended inteior ambient lighting. The ambient lighting is perfect and looks very good but my driver footwell doesnt have light. Is this intended or there is light bulb there that have went out?

I checked my car. The lamp is between the foot rest and the brake pedal. If it's similar to the other lamp housings, it should pop out so you can check the connection.
Someone could have removed the under dash cover and failed to plug it back in when installing.
