A6 3.0L TDI CEL
Hi,
Started car a week ago and it sputtered and stalled (has about 61K miles on it). Started up ok afterwards and then check engine light came on. Light went off and then on again. Pulled codes with VCDS:
- P20E800 - Pressure Too Low - Intermittent
- P229F00 - Nox Sensor 2 Bank 1 Implausible Signal - Intermittent
- P229F00 - Nox Sensor 2 Bank 1 Implausible Signal - Intermittent
- P24AE00 - Particulate Matter Sensor - MIL ON Confirmed
Took it into Audi, they did this:
Verified Complaint found P24AE000 Found Particulate Filter Failure. Replaced Part 4G0-906-261-C. Problem Corrected.
Hope it helps someone!

CPO deductible of $85. I truly believe this car is the most "fragile" car I've ever owned. Over $3500 (actual retail value of fixes) in repairs while under warranty so far. I'm actually a bit frightened once it's out of warranty.

That's actually a sensor and not the actual filter; it is also covered by the CA emissions warranty so even past 100K, you'd be covered.
That said - I actually think my A6 TDI is the least fragile VAG I've owned...

Sensor this sensor that, computer module this computer module that. I've got extended warranty until 120k anyways so we shall see. I'm not liking my trajectory right now though, feels like I'm going to get 1000 paper cuts.

55,000 on my 2014 A6 TDI, NO repairs needed so far, just routine service at each 10K.
Most trouble free car I have ever owned, original brakes etc. nothing replaced

You all are giving me hope. Lets just assume I'm working out the bugaboos and it'll be solid after this. I really do love the car. Economically I hope they cannot fix it, however, if it is fixable and it stops having little issues then I'm quite happy to keep the car.

55,000mi on riginal brakes? Wow!
I am in the middle of my third set at 102,000km. Orginal oem lasted 35k, next oem set lasted 30k. The Stoptech slotted rotors and pads are holding up very well.
As for the emission repairs, I have heard nothing along the lines of tranmission components being covered past the standard 4yr/80,000km. At least not in Canada.
Anyone would like to expand on this?

Yes, I'm at 80k km and nothing has gone wrong with my car at all. Still on original brake pads. The ****ty GY Eagle LS tires are in need of replacement but that's all.
