Default ◆ Needs help with 08 Q7 3.0TDI Major Issues ◆

Hi guys

i really needs help from you guys about my 08 Q7 3.0 TDI (South Korea)

so i 've run the Vagcom and i see lots of issues but

I've pulled out some Major issues.

the issues that i'm having now with my baby Q7 are

- it doesn't starts well, I've replaced battery and recycled alternator but keep having same issue now.

- from 1400 RPM it doesn't go up straight to the 2000 RPM when RPM reach 1400, after i press more gas, RPM jumps to 2000 RPM

- when i press gas at FULL position, and RPM go over 5000, suddenly the car get into the limp mode and the Glow Plug System warning symbol shows up.
when this happens, i just shut down the car and restart and warning light gone, and car runs fine.

- feels like my car lost power a lot.

ECU Malone Tuning Stage 1

K&N Air Filter

this is all i've done to my car with modification.

Engine (CAS)

000135 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure
P0087 - 003 - Too Low - Intermittent

004142 - Torque Restriction due to Exhaust Temperature
P102E - 000 - Intermittent


Airbags

00532 - Supply Voltage B+
002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

02095 - Component Protection Active - Intermittent


Aux. Heat

01414 - Combustion - Air Blower (V6)
007 - Short to Ground

02251 - Heater Unit Locked



CAN Gateway

01207 - Control Module for Auxiliary Heater (J364)
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent



Battery Regul


02256 - Quiescent Current
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

03041 - Energy Management Active - Intermittent

The first thing to try is restoring the original engine management software.

Clear all the fault codes and then see what re-appears.

Yeah those codes showed up after i cleaned them all twice

Can you post the latest fault log so we can see what re-appeared?

Quite a few of those faults relate to a low battery voltage.

i checkes V of battery today and it was showing 14.4v

and thats the codes after i did reset

Many of those date back to 2016 so it cannot have cleared the fault log.

Can you try clearing it again then download the faults again after a couple of days driving?
