I just thought I would post my video I did of carbon fiber mirror covers on the 2017 S3. These are actually from EBay and surprisingly the quality is actually very good. I will let you guys know in the future with them but so far they have been great. Just sealed them with some Carpro Reload to help with some UV issues that may arise in the future.

I just installed OEM carbon fiber mirror caps on ny A3. The weave is amazing. I got them for 289.00 shipped from preston audi in the UK. Just a little tip if you are looking for aftermarket parts. Go to ebay uk. The parts are much cheaper including the shipping.

i notice in the video that you do not need to remove any screws to get the caps off. other videos mention removing screws (maybe just to get at the tabs easier?) this video details how to remove the caps for a non lane assist mirror- does anyone know if the process is any different for a mirror with lane assist?
