Default Lost Steering Wheel Controls After Bootloader Update

Hello,
So I think i missed up my car! I was updating the MMI and after finishing the update, I hit the Bootloader checkbox and the MMI system restarted, and I lost the whole MMI system!
After searching around the internet, I managed to get it back with the MMI Update CD, but the steering wheel controls don't work anymore! I think I lost the original MMI system? I also lost some MMI features as well in the car settings menu.
Is there a way to get the steering wheel controls back? Or I have to visit the dealer so they can reset the system?
Audi A6 3.2 2007 with Navigation.
Thanks!

What version of MMI firmware are you currently running on your vehicle? Take a screen shot and post it. Then we can help determine what the best option is for recovery.

A good idea is to usually insert the latest MMI s/w (i.e. 46.1.0) in your CD and then it'll attempt to reboot off of the CD.

So you have 51.5.0, your best bet is to get the latest EU ver which I believe is the 55.7.0 https://a6retrofit.com/mmi-software-...1-5570-5-5-70/ and then update it to accept the newer version. NEVER EVER go into bootloader
