Air leak in strut

Air leak in strut
Help! I have an 04 A8 and have an air leak out of the very top of the strut. Not from the air line that goes in but from the bolt below. Is this an easy fix like a seal or is the strut bad?

06 A8 Same issue
I recently found the same leak in my Strut. I have tried to fill it with sealant 2 times, but I didn't have all the pressure out of the strut so it bubbled while applying.. today I removed the wheel, then removed the air line to the strut. I hoping that with no pressure or bubbles that I will get a solid seal. Did you have any luck with yours? I wish I knew what the PSI was of the struts.. I hope someone chimes in on this post..
