Arnott Air Suspension Products announced the introduction of a completely new, Arnott-designed left or right front shock for the 2001 to 2005 C5 Chassis Type 4B Audi allroad® quattro and A6. Arnott's new shocks replace OEM Part Number 4Z7413031A.

Arnott's aftermarket gas pressure shock for the Audi allroad quattro and A6, Arnott Part Number SK-2779, is engineered in the USA to deliver excellent control and stability, precise handling, and incredible comfort. Arnott's exclusive design adapts the shocks for the OEM Audi air springs and Arnott's own aftermarket front air springs, which are available as Arnott Part Numbers A-2730 and A-2239. These Arnott air springs are described in greater detail below in 'Additional Aftermarket Innovations.'

The shock, which Arnott recommends replacing in pairs, is in stock for immediate shipping and retails for $169. A detailed Installation Manual is included, and in addition, Arnott provides an Installation Video which applies to this new design.

In North America, the part is backed by Arnott's Limited Lifetime Warranty; it is covered by a Two-Year Limited Warranty in the rest of the world.

Additional Aftermarket Innovations

While the highlighted Audi front Air Shock is a reliable and affordable solution for Audi quattro and Audi A6 owners concerned about failing air shocks leaving them stranded with expensive and recurring maintenance problems, Arnott offers additional, innovative aftermarket parts for the Audi. For example, the Audi Air Shocks highlighted in this Press Release can be combined with Arnott's recently updated High-Performance Gen II Front Air Springs (Right or Left), available as Arnott Part A-2730. These Audi replacement Air Springs feature a more durable air bladder manufactured by Continental ContiTech, the same manufacturer as used by the OE.

In addition, available as a lower-cost Audi Air Spring replacement option, Arnott offers A-2239. This newly improved rugged front Air Spring also uses a ContiTech air bladder as well as high-impact glass nylon pistons, improved crimping rings, and a CNC-machined aircraft-quality aluminum mounting base. To round out an Audi air suspension project, Audi owners can choose a new WABCO Air Suspension Compressor/Dryer Assembly, Arnott Part P-2134.
