Hello everyone,

I have read multiple threads and through people that this is a common problem in a car that we all have chosen to own "the A8". That being said my 04 a8L showed symptoms of the pump failure until it completely stopped working. Of course, the car has been sitting outside my garage in the driveway for two months now. The dealership wanted 3000 almost to fix it so I naturally refused to go that route and bought a new air compressor off of eBay for 400 and paid a mechanic to come to my house and install it in for only 150!!! Yes that's way less then what those thieves wanted. Here is the problem though : nothing changed I still get those two blinking orange and green car shape lights on my dash even though my Compressor is turning on just fine. The car isn't raising and the "lift and dynamic" options are grayed out with only standard and automatic options available on the suspension screen. The relay is fine and I changed it before buying the pump also if it wasn't then the pump would not kick in and the fuse on the passenger side front (US) model is

Is fine too. Can someone please suggest what this could be? Or what can be done here?

I'm dealing with exact same now on my 05. About to add lubricatuon oil to the line and check the valve block for leaks/sticking. If not that, then new rear shocks.
