did you find an audi mechanic?
If you are remotely mechanically inclined and have a garage, I would say order the parts and do it yourself. I just replaced my front air springs and all 4 upper control arms...2003 AR.
45 mins per side.
However, I would recommend Bush Mans Autowerks off Dartmouth and Tejon.

He's a single guy. Very approachable, customer service oriented and honest.
He had my AR for a few diagnosing something....I have two cars so I elected for him to take his time.
In the end, it required parts and a return visit. He brought my car to me on a Friday afternoon , and there was no charge for anything. I've never had that done by a mechanic.
I recommend him.
