I have a 2006 A6 S Line which has recently started to show the oil level warning light after 45-60 minutes of driving. The oil level is fine and the oil sensor was replaced earlier this year.
The driving doesn't have to be continuous it can be 30 minutes driving today and 20 minutes tomorrow and the warning light then comes on.
Opening and closing the bonnet clears the light for another 45-60minutes.
Any help would be appreciated, driving with the bonnet up hasn't proved to be very pratical.
