TDI in the US
Hi all, Saw an add/review for the A5 a while back and i was hooked. Just payed off my G35 coupe so I started looking at an eventual replacement. What truly intrigued me was the A5 3.0 TDI, good performance and great economy.
So are there any groups/initiatives attempting to get Audi to expedite the introduction of TDI vehicles, accross the entire Audi line, to the US?

I think thats what the hold up has been...
Audi are going for an all State type approval for that very engine.
The reason thye are using the 3.0 TDI is its broad spectrum. It fits into and hauls just about every model platform. It appeals to the performance, eco minded and torque needy customer. Rumors abound for other engines but lets see how this one is received.
