Thought I'd start a crazy tech idea thread to see what people may come up with given the evolution of car, phone, wearable tech. Here is my list:

Heads up display tech
- I'd like to see this tech replace the rear view mirror on the windshield. By using the rear view camera, I would like to see the image streamed to the location on the windshield where the mirror would typically go.

- I'd like to see similar setup to remove the outside mirrors, by projecting side vision on the driver and passenger side windows. If they are down, that image can be projected on the vehicle telematics screen.

-I'd like to see the advances in eye tracking technology, control where and how the heads up display images will displayed.

Heart rate detection
- I'd like to see heart rate data from wearable devices (smart watches) in combination with facial recognition thru the eye tracking cameras, be used to authenticate the driver, adjust seat, radio, preferred driving mode, and climate control accordingly.


Just a couple of crazy ideas . What are yours?
