I'm going through a retrofit of an oem bluetooth unit. Its all fitted in but I'm getting the 'telephone not connected' message and am not seeing it from my phone when scanning for bt devices.
I've activated it in the Can Gateway module list and changed the settings in Channels 133, 134 etc of Control Module 77 as per instructions on forums.
When entering the service menu, there is a new line in the right place (0x0103) but no device name when looking at the MOST list. Clicking on that gives me the software version (0950), part number (....336k) and the date, but no devicename, or hw details.
So there must be communication.
I thought a software upgrade would fix things but no such luck. Running disc 2 only takes about 4 minutes for the 'programming flash' bit, then it tells me that the update was not ok and it is still running 0950. There are a few messages about unlock no 1 please ( or words to that effect) but they fly past before i can scroll down to read them.
I thought running disc 1 could assist as I read somewherethat it can address incompatible sw/fw issues, but I can't select anything to run as everything is up to date.
Super confused, so any suggestions would be welcomed.
