Default 03 With AT trans problems

So I purchased this 03 TT with an auto, that was having some problems. I took it to a trans shop because it had fluid pouring out of a seal. The seal and pump needed to be replaced. But now it shifts from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, then into neutral. Valve body? Sensor? What do the experts think?

Each of the "PRNDS" letters will be lit up irrespective of where the shifter is positioned. Your other issues make diagnosis difficult without a VagCom.

How was it shifting before the trans shop made their repair, and what do they have to say about the symptoms?
