Anyone had problems with cruise control going out? it started just every once in a while not working, now it doesn't work at all. I bought new switch that wasn't it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Mclark

Diagnostic scan using Ross-Tech software & Interface should lead you right to the bad component. Don't waste your time with a generic hand-held scanner. They only work with SAE powertrain faults which this is not part of......

Most likely culprit and easy to check/replace. If your brake lights are always on, that is the problem.

I think that TT's older than 2002 have a cruise control module behind the glove box that goes bad. There are capacitors in there that expand and "micro crack" the solder and break the connection. There are plenty of threads that you can find to fix that problem. Other wise you can have a vacuum leak, burnt out tail light, burnt fuse, or you can have a bad brake or clutch pressure sensor. i just posted a thread on how i fixed my problem that you can check out.
