Default 2002 225 overheating and no AC

To any TT genius,

Guys, I ahve an 02 225 coupe that 2 things have happened in last few days....

1) I'm overheating at idle.

2) my AC blows hot air.

I noticed the temp going up when I rec'd the alarm...I had AC on in hopes that it would start blowing cold again.

I turned off AC and soon my temp guage came back to dead center and alarm cleared.

I checked my low side AC port to try to add R134, but had tons of pressure.

Any thoughts before I go to the stealer? I have 95K miles on her.

My hopes that its a problem common to both issues related to a simple temperature switch somewhere.

I also noted that my fan hasn't been coming on.(or at least I didn't notice it)

Thanks tons for any advice.

Check fuses on top of battery.

Nope.

Another message states to remove battery and clean terminals beneath it. I can do this as I have those skills....as long as I dont have to remove half of the car to do this. Is the terminal connection immediately beneath the battery?

Thanks man,

could be a defective fan relay/switch...they are known to go bad at times...

I already did. They look healthy (I presume you are talking of the 3 fuses on top, 30A each). I was thinking about just replacing them anyway, but didnt see any melted fuses or obvious problems. Thanks though.

I'd change that right now if I knew where it was. I live about 300 yards from the stealer. Is it an easy evolution?
