Default could be the switch like Hans says, or the temp sensor, or the radiator fan itself >

run it up to full warm, then check the AC readout, block 49, coolant temp; if it's at 105 and the driver's side radiator fan's not on by then, well - you know the rest.

Default Re: yes, check these fusable links

Are there/is there additional terminal connections underneath the battery that are accessible only when the battery is removed? I read that on another thread.

I'm betting on the fan switch located under the battery.

I checked, Aok. I removed all the wires and wire brushed. They werent bad, but still now fans at all. Im wondering if there is a common switch.

Where is the fan control module Ive seen other people write about? Any idea?

Maaliish,

Where is the fan switch? I had battery and tray out today to get to ground stud. Is it the switch in the pipe right at the front of the car under the battery? Would this affect botrh fans and my AC clutch?at

Default its somewhere under there. I never had to replace mine so I'm not sure of the exact location

but there are plenty of posts on this board about it so if you search you should find'em. Its also a common failure for these cars and symptoms you described.

Default So weird ... I saw this post the other day & yesterday morning my A/C died on the way to work.

& today I nearly over heated. Glad I saw this ... time to check the battery, etc.
