2004 Audi TT 3.2 TTR OBDII port will not communicate
Hey guys, got a problem and wondering if anyone has a suggestion.
I have a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 Roadster. The OBDII port cannot communicate with any scanner. All fuses have been checked and appear to be fine. There is power to the OBDII port, but no communications and again, 5 scanners have the same problem, so it's not a scanner issue.
I've read that there are problems with the K line and modules connected along that line. No idea if there's occurring or not. I did have 2 check engine lights on, but I don't think they're directly related, as OBDII worked fine for some time while the CEL was on.
One mechanic I know wants to try and refresh the ECU. Another says he doubts it's ECU-related.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have an aftermarket radio? If so, you might want to carry out the Ross-tech test at Ross-Tech: VCDS: Afterrmarket Radio Problem
