2005 TT 3.2 Convertible Top Sensor Issue

Default 2005 TT 3.2 Convertible Top Sensor Issue
I just purchased an 05 TT 3.2 Quattro roadster with only 54,000 miles. We've had a cold snap down here and the top down sensor continues to flash and will kick the windows down to the partially open position at random times. Where is the sensor located? I think it's just not making contact.

The sensor is located in the inside top of the windshield inside the latch hole on the driver side.

you can bend the tab a little and try cleaning it
