Aftermarket stereo, is there a converter cable?
I am about to purchase an aftermarket, to get bluetooth. The car has already an aftermarket (an alpine CD unit, at leat 10 years old).
I am planning to get a cheap Boss 625UAB, but the problem now is that I have no diagrams nor I know what the previous owner did with the wires.
I assume and hope that the original cable from the concert stereo, was left intact, but if it was cut or modified, how can I actually figure out which cables goes where? Are all stereo using the same standard connector, or each brand uses their own? In the old days there were 8 wires for the speaker, power, ground and antenna, but I am not sure what happened in the past 25 years
Do they sell connectors that translate from Audi connector to standard/generic aftermarket stereo? Is there a guide somewhere, to learn how to find the wires for each of the speaker? My car has a cd changer but I won't use it (planning to cut the power altogether to it; have no time to take apart the whole back to rip that out); but I assume that there is an amplifier in the car?
It is a 2001 Roadster with bose speaker.
Thanks for any help you can give me; I can run to the local electronic shop/car stereo place; to get the parts; I just need to know what to get

Thanks a lot!
So I've got the cable, and I hooked up power and speakers, but I get no sound out of it.
I have the 4 channel wires each to one of the Audi connector, the ground is connected together, and on the other cable, I have power, ground and 2 more wires.
The radio turn on, but I hear nothing.
I tried an external speaker on each of the channels, and I get sound out of it, so the problem is not the radio.
The strange thing is that the old radio was attached via RCA cables; 2 of these RCA cable were coming from a different cable, which is not the one from the 2 big connectors attached to the radio. These 2 rca has also a blue cable tied to it, which I have no idea what is for.
I found a diagram online that show the connection from the original TT radio, but I don't see any extra RCA coming from it.
Any help would be really appreciated; I have everything taken apart and the radio is half working...I don't get what is wrong.
