Snow in Chicago = Fun in the TT...........
Took the TT out before the parking lots were cleared and salt on the streets.
Yep, Haldex works and so does ABS. I have Nokians on and could just zip by others and then stop on a dime - well, a big dime.
Absolutely amazing what snow tires do for this car.
I know people that do not understand Audi's, much less a TT, think that most be an idiot hunting a death wish in the little silver car. But it was so confident in this stuff and so sure footed. Truck suddenly stops in front and it a quick left and right through the slush and by him.
Good practice for the rest of the upcoming winter. I pull in the drive and here comes the plow and salt truck.

Put my snow shoes on today too>>>
John....you are absolutely right....the TT is a TANK in the snow...pretty amazing. While some love the all season tires, the benefit of having summer tires and dedicated winter tires equals a car that is way more fun year round.....
Drive safe...and have fun amigo! ;-)

Yikes, they still using salt on the roads back there? not in Oregon
glad of it for many reasons, including the rust issues...
look uner Winter conditions on this web site, no salt used, but a less enviromentaly hazardous material is used.

http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/HWY/REGION4/PR042806.shtml</a
