Default To Borla or Blueflame, that is the question...

Is anyone tired of my exhaust posts because I sure am? I have considered pretty much everything and have narrowed it down to either the Borla or the Blueflame.

Did anyone else have a really hard time deciding what exhaust to put on their TT? I have been going back and forth and it is such a PIA trying to make a decision.

I like the Borla but am afraid it might sound annoying or ricey, and I like the Blueflame but am hesitant because it sounds quieter like stock.

HELP! I plan on ordering it tomorrow- any last minute advice?

Default Well, if it's any help, I've got 2 TTs in my garage....one with Borla, one with Forge (Blueflame)..

the Borla does NOT sound ricey....loud, yes, aggressive, yes...ricey, no.

The Forge sounds more mellow, a little louder than stock, but much more mellow.

It's just a preference thing....They both flow well and perform well, it's just what kind of tone do you want.

Default blueflame all the way...

i have it in my car it isn't super loud. its louder but sounds great nice and deep. i spent about four months deciding on what exhaust i wanted. i have absolutely no regrets with the blueflame. looks great once adjusted properly, sounds great. just my two cents

Default No exhaust you put on the TT is going to sound like a Civic fartcan,

the turbo in the way makes a huge difference in what the exhaust is going to sound like.

Default Sorry but, I'll say it again...Milltek = great choice. For me the Borla sounded great but

the droning at 3K in the passenger compartment was unbearable. Seems to be more prevalent with 225's for some reason. No experience with the Blue Flame but the Milltek 100mm (even resonanted) sounds great (deeper than stock but no droning)and performs like all the other free flowing systems...what's not to like?
