I'm working on a 2000 Audi TT Quattro. Trying to replace the wheel hub, but every auto store I've been to, their hubs looking a little different from the one that was on the car. The old hub has a recess that allows the axle nut to drive inside so it's not in the way, but that ones that come up at auto stores for this car does not have the recess so the axle nut sticks out to far. First time working on a german car so go easy on me. Here's a pic to show the difference.

OEM parts from a dealer is the way to go. Unless someone "bastardized" the car previously. Is the other side identical?
