Default good morning all help needed

i have a audi tt mark 1 and my instrument cluster has a complete failure i have no display no rev counter or fuel gauge etc. however i also cant unlock my car with the remote if i unlock it with the key only the drivers door unlocks and i have to pass the key over car to unlock other door. the boot will not unlock with the convience module either or the petrol flap open . i have been told i need my instrument cluster repaired but will this fix my other problems

It is highly unlikely that your cluster is related to your other problems. The cluster problem is pretty common. Get the cluster rebuilt. Do a search on this forum, quattroworld, or fourtitude for rebuild sources. Have you replaced the battery in the fob? You will probably need to reset the fob according to the manual's instructions after you replace the battery. If the battery is already good, then just do the reset procedure.

Default cluster repairs /rebuild

I had the cluster in my 2001 Quattro repaired by Module Master in Indiana last summer. The will rebuild the entire cluster for a a reasonable price. When i had another cluster issue this year I sent it back and they checked it out and found that the cluster wasn't the problem.no charge They also guarantee all their work for five years. Removing the cluster isn't the most simple operation but it's not horrible either. Before you get to that point , did you check all the fuses?
