Default Has this happened to anybody? My dome light won't turn off >>>

While I'm driving or when I put the alarm, I had to turn it off manually.

I checked the doors, the trunk and the hood and nothing...

I hope it's something that I'm overlooking

Any help from you guys (or gals) would be appreciated

MAX

After I have the key out and close the door mine fades out in about 15 seconds, no problem here.

Usually that's the case, I think I'll apply TTom TTr's technique and see what happens

Default These happens to me every so often...Usually I have to turn the car off and restart it to get it to

return to normal....

I believe this is a known problem...something to do with a short in the system...

I intend to have this issue addressed at my 5k service..which is 2k away...as it only happens now and again...Note: I think I get the light on condition MORE when i use the central locking mechanism...

If i find the fix, I will let you know...

Default Ditto -- I've found a sure-fire way to make it happen on my car --

If I unlatch the top while I'm rolling, say coming to a stop at a light, my dome lights will come on and stay until I turn the car off, arm the alarm, disarm it, and restart. Wierd. I haven't experienced the problem when I unlatch the top at a standstill as described in the manual...what's up with that? )

Default When it occurs can you lock/unlock the doors from the center console?

If you can't you have a problem that's worth fixing in my opinion. I was told by my service dept that this was a problem with the central locking system. I believe I heard on the forum this was a problem with the ingnition module.
