are both headlights powered from the same source. I have the passenger side headlight out and the bulb is ok. do I just need to replace the igniter

Default replacing headlight igniter/2000 a8 quattro

my passenger side headlight is out and bulb is O.K Are both headlights powered from the same source. If so is it the igniter that requires replacement.

I just unplugged the old igniter and plugged in the new one and stuffed it into the light assembly. No need to pull headlight assembly. Takes about 20 minutes.

Would you know how much they cost in Canada as they are all closed today for the holiday, just for intertest
