so i need to buy some new coil packs and spark plugs....but im eventually going to be upgradeing...tuneing and such but anyways im seeing the r8 packs? but for a 2.0.....what should i buy? recomend me some stuff?

I used OEM coil packs (from ECS tuning) and appropriate plugs (cooler for the chipped engine). Never had a problem with the factory coils and plugs. Other than some of the plastic clips breaking.. There may be 'better' coil packs, but I found, in 162,000 mi of driving, mostly with a chipped CPU, the factory ones were up to the task.

I have a 2001 TT quattro 225 with 116k miles. i pulled out of the garage yesterday and one of my cylinders wasnt firing. Went out on the highway and after 10 minutes or so it was back to normal. I assumed that it was the sparkplug, I don't think they've ever been changed on my car. At 116k miles should I also change my coilpacks at the same time I change the sparkplugs??
