I just picked up an 01 TT convertible for a good price, with a few issues. One issue is the speakers. The head unit seems to function fine as does the CD player, but sound only comes from the center dash speaker. No sound whatsoever comes from the door speakers or the rear speaker. From what I have read, and based on the location of the BOSE amp, I think it may have fried. Has anyone else had this problem?

If only all issues were this easy to fix....the plug at the amp was only partially in, pushed it completely in and voilla.... all speakers work great

Glad to hear it was an easy fix.
My speakers have worked fine in 2005 convertible since I purchased it in January 2016.
