Default Boost issues

I have been driving lately without the BM on to see if that is causing the problem. The car is holding about 14/15 PSI. The vehicle has GIAC chip, 4 bar FPR, and the TTDA. Car is also getting very low gas mileage, less than 15 id say. Boost leak but the VAG doesnt show that. any ideas?

TIA-Kenny

Default boost usually gets >>>

pulled when there is bad gas, or electrical issues....low gas mileage could be o2 sensors too....

What is the mileage and when was the last time you did spark plugs?????

Default we get extra ethanol in the winter out here

and that contributes to crappy mileage, plus with colder weather I think the car typically asks for less boost. Could just be a seasonal thing.

Default does it overboost then go limp? or just steady low boost?

overboost first usually indicates a leak somewhere...

Default i am unsure as to when the plugs were last changed

it could be the O2 sensors, but wouldnt that throw a check engine light or some indicator? I have not drive the vehicel much lately, but it has had a few gas fillups so i dont think that is it. Pressure test would help im sure, but i was unaware that plugs could cause a drop in boost.

Default Could be several things....First, why the 4 bar?...>>

If you don't have a **** you're running rich (one reason for bad mileage), and maybe you've toasted your 02's as a result (a second reason for bad mileage). The ECU is not allowing higher boost because some sensor is telling it not to. How many miles on the 02's? How old is the MAF? Temp readings OK? all of these can result in lower boost levels.
