Default R8 Coil pack replacement

Hey guys,

Lately my TT mk1 quattro 225hp started to kind of cough when accelerating, and actually loosing power. I dont get any error message when i had a computer to it, but reading this great forum and some others, i have come to the conclusion that its my coil packs that needs to be replaced. I read somewhere that the recommend using the r8 (red) coil packs, for audi motors with more than 200hp - have any of you heard of that and have some advice? Can i just plug the r8 in or do i need other parts in order for them to fit?

Should i also concider changing the MAF?

Br.
