Re-piping N75 Valve, Boost Machine and Dump Valve Move - Questions
Over the next couple of weeks I will be doing the DV relocation and Boost Machine installation. The existing pressurized feeds to the DV and the N75 come off of parallel ports on the turbo exit pipe at the firewall side of engine.
A few questions:
1. Why are there 2 separate ports for the DV and N75 feeds?
2. Does it matter whether the N75 sees the hot pre intercooler air, or the colder after intercooler air? The turbo exit would certainly have a higher static pressure.
3. As part of the DV relo I am thinking of adding another small port off of the bottom pipe for the relocated DV that would then feed the Boost Machine. I would like to install my Boost Machine in the area between the relo DV and turbo inlet hose. There appears to be more space and picking up the pressurized air at this point would be easy.
I would just plug the two holes on the turbo exit pipe.
Your thoughts?

Should work fine John..>>
Getting the BM into a cooler spot is desirable. Those valves aren't rated for very high temps which is why mine is over to the side. From a pressure standpoint, no reason your plan would not work..

I am thinking of doing the same mod to my DV inlet. Plugging the two connections on the turbo exit pipe and tapping off second intercooler exit before going to the intake manifold. Did you do this mod? Any feedback would be helpful.
