Rear shocks...Sport or standard?
Hello everyone,
New owner here, and this is my first Audi. I have been lurking on here for about two weeks now, and finally got signed up to join in on the fun and learn.
2004 Audi TT Quattro Coupe, 1.8 Turbo
I just purchased the TT coupe about three weeks ago. The car is in very good shape, except for the front tie rod ball joints (drivers side), and the rear shocks. (Rear shocks are like bricks) I am getting the front joints done next week...no problem there, but am unsure of which set of rear shocks to order. The standard and the sport are the choices. I just got off of the phone with the Blauparts folks, and they said I would have to verify by my VIN number.
Anyone have access to do this? The VIN # is TRUWT28N841005739. I know the car was made in Hungary, but that is all I can tell. I cannot pull specs from anywhere.
Liking the little ride so far. The engine runs like a sewing machine. I have two other questions about the blow off valve and the gearshift linkage, but I will wait until I get the rear shocks sorted out.
Thanks,
David P.
