Default Remove instrument cluster

On the hardness scale 1-10 where would removing an instrument cluster and then subsequently replacing temp and fuel gauge motors rate? Any good videos or write ups on same? Thanks

4/10 to R&R.

As for the stepper motor/gauge replacement; If you are good a circuit board repair, then a typical 5/10 procedure; If not experienced at this, don't tdo it. Send it to Module Master.
Also, if your display is original, consider having Module Master do the job as they guarantee their work. They even list the R&R procedure on their site.

Remove and reinstall of the cluster is a 3/10 or 4/10.

I sent mine to Tanin in Racine WI and they fixed all the stepper motors and the center CPU display in quick order. Reasonable prices and guaranteed! I'm very happy. No issues.
