Revo 5 hr trial
Just got the 5 hr trial program for a '02 180 QC. Contact Will at http://emotiongarage.com/. Very nice and service oriented young man with a small garage in Santa Clara. He'll come out with his laptop and do the download in less than 10 min. First impression was that this is what the car should have felt like from the dealer. Smoother acceleration throughout the gears and a better top end in 5th. No need to downshift to pass. Also the added and unexpected benefit of better gas mileage. Ran the same stretch on the San Mateo bridge at the same rpm and mph before and after. Before, 3000 rpm/67 mph I got 29 mpg. After I got 33 mpg. It will pay for itself just in gas savings alone. I'm definately going for it at a later date.

Yes <more inside>
APR actually has had this technology in development for some time... and are ready for full release at the end of this month.
The software is very much like Revo with a few exceptions... it is loaded the same way (at an approved APR dealer - takes about 10 minutes).
The differences are:
1. You won't need a dongle thingy - all program changes will happen via the speed control stalk. Obviously this is much better than trying to plug into the port each time you want to make a change from stock to perf.
2. You can get a trial version that can be "remotely" converted to the full product by simply calling APR, giving credit card, and then they give you a special code to "unlock" the software via the speed control stalk.
3. APR is well-known for the stability of their chipping technology and have a large presence in the US.
Anything else I can answer for you?
