Default 02 TT Quattro Mk1 225, AMU, Expansion Tank Lower Hose Assembly

Hello folks! Have an 02 TT Quattro Mk1 225 Coupe, AMU engine purchased a couple years ago from original owner. Each winter season I’ve focused on renewing different sections, this year’s project has been pull the front end so I can replace all things engine compartment, hoses etc.

Looking for info (part #) on the Expansion Tank Lower Hose Assembly? Only #’s for 180HP exist on Audi website, so likely is no longer available, but want to keep my eye open on the secondary market. What I have is serviceable, but, would like to update it… though it’s always questionable the quality of an item one purchases based on photos; mighty be better to stay with the devil I know!

With car currently torn down, I can see the part comprises of two separate hoses that are joined by a rubber joint that I’ve seen on other dual Audi hoses. I’ve not been able to fully trace the second line destination behind the engine, but it becomes a pressed fit steel line that wraps behind the motor.

In the least I’m wondering if anyone has insight into the feasibility of the using the 180HP lower expansion tank hose to, in the least, replace that particular line?

My thinking being, cut the rubber that joins/holds the two lines together and replace the lower expansion tank hose with the 180HP variant; picture wise, it looks like the same hose. That way I’m only rolling the dice on the remaining life of the steel/rubber line - which looks fine currently, but being a New England car, the previous owner exposed it to winter/salt a wee bit in it’s early years, but not on a regular basis - so he claimed; analysis of the general condition of the vehicle seems to support that claim.

Appreciate any insight/thoughts/opinions

Thank you!
