Thowout/Clutch Release Bearing
I believe my throwout bearing is going bad. I have already ordered a new one. Has anyone here replaced theirs before? Do I have to drop the transmission? How long should this take me? It would be great to get step by step directions or pictures! Any advice will help! Thanks in advance!

Several hours DIY without a hoist and the VW/Audi tall transmission jack. As a minimum, buy the Harbor Freight transmission jack. For step by step, buy the Bentley service manual or subscribe to All Data or Elsawin like I have done.
Also, you need a pressure bleeder with high pressure output, 29psi minimum. Or improvise.
