I just learned about trick 49 and although it's 100 degrees out in LA, I've been driving around with my air on Econ monitoring 49 C and 51C. At 51 ( engine temp) it started out at 60 and slowly rose to 99 C and stayed steady, but 49 (coolent temp) the temperature flux from 87 to 101 up and down depending on traffic and speed. Assume that's normal? That as the fan changes fast and slow and on and off the coolant temp changes?
I also noticed one of my mechanics bi passed the fan fuse without telling me. Is this ethical? It works but ?
