What Tire size should i get for 18 x 8.5 rims ?

and treadwidth is measured from the beginning of the tread om the sidewall over the tire and down...
... to the end of the tread on the sidewall on the other side of the tire
therefor the treadwidth should be a bit more than the actual width of the rim

245/45 is totally wrong. It will cause faulty speedo reading, and throw off aspect ratios. Look link
