Is it worth upgrading the Bose Speakers in my MK1??
Hi,
I recently picked up a 2003 Audi TT quattro. It has the Bose speakers which sound fine to me.
Has anyone changed out their Bose speakers for aftermarket speakers? If so, do they sound noticeably better?
I'm going to keep the stock head unit. I like the way it looks. I was told to look for speakers that reach a low RMS power range. The ones I have in mind are the Kicker 40CS674. Do you think they are better speaker than the Bose (I know that may be difficult to answer)?
Kicker 40CS674 6-3/4" 2-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com
I did a search and couldn't a post regarding folks switching out their bose speakers.
Thanks

Front Speakers
I have a 2001 TT Quattro with a Bose sound systems and was thinking about upgrading the speakers. Did you upgrade your front speakers with the
Kicker 40CS674
6-3/4" 2-way car speakers?
Does it sound any better?
