Default My TT rack bars are lake silver from Clair, not painted later and they >>

match the color of the car perfect. The mounting clips are black though and need to match better. I find it is a POS though as the hatch becomes a bear when a bike tray is on it. It can't be opened fully. I only use it if going away on trips and need the luggage space in the rear and the bike(s) on the roof. I like the Yakima mod mount here as I think it'll be a better use and keeps the roof line normal. The OEM makes one hell of a whistle at all speeds without a fairing so I find I take it off a lot.

Default Hatchback mounted bike rack version for MkII TT?

Really useful post, thanks Tex - has anyone tried this on a MkII coupe, or adapted it for use on a MkII TT coupe? Thanks.

You do realize you asked someone to repost pics from a post made in 2003?

While this post is "bumped"-----
I have a Yakima roof mount rack that I bought for a Cayman S. It also fits the Mk1TT coupe ( I have verified on mine)
Control towers (4), landing pad 11 (4) round bars 48" (2)

Anybody interested? If so I'll mount it and take some photos.
( I have a set of the OEM Audi racks so I don't need these. I use the round bars on my Q7 but we could work that out with one party buying new.)
