2008 TT Front License Bracket
Just bought a used 2008 TT that doesn't have a front license plate holder. Here in WI we're required to have one. Funny thing is that this car has been registered here in WI for 8 years w/out the front plate. I just don't want to give the local LE any reason to hassle me, I'm pretty sure that I'll give them enough reasons on my own with the way that this care moves........
Anyone know of a good, quick source for such a bracket?
TIA,
JW

Yeah, not something that I'm going to do. I've been looking at cars in my area lately, seems like 40% or so of the German imports and the higher end Japanese cars are w/out front plates. Makes me think that at least around home the requirement is pretty much not enforced, other than maybe as an "enhancer" for a speeding stop.
I'm going to run w/out the front plate for awhile and see what happens.

Sort of depends on your local guys. We had a MKI TTR that ran without a front plate here in MA for a while. We always had it in the car and on the two occasions we were called on it, the old "we were taking pictures earlier and forgot" took care of it.
There are other options like the Rho (spelling?) bracket that mounts to the tow hook point. Won't mess up your grill area.
Or you can get the "proper" filler plate from some of the aftermarket places like OEM and ECS.
