Default 2010 TT start up issue

Hey guys!
New to the TT world. Just picked up a used 2010 Audi TT 2.0T with about 79k miles. I love the car so far but there is one thing that i have noticed that i wanted your guys' opinion on and whether i should take it back to the dealer or not.

When i take my foot off the brake in normal Drive mode, the car will hesitate to go forward and then jerk forward a bit and then stutter like its struggling to stay in gear and about to stall out. But its a Automatic S-Tronic gear box so this behavior is very odd to me. But eventually it catches itself and manages to roll. Everything else is perfectly fine with it. Perfect shifts throughout at every other gear.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance and excited to be a part of this community

I have a '13 with about 37K on it. The only times I experience sort of what you describe is when the car is really cold, like first thing on a 20 deg F day. It will sort of hesitate to get going and sometimes will seem sort of slippy at that first intersection, but never a stuttery/stall feeling. And it is perfectly normal once things warm up.

Is this something that only happens when it is really cold out or is it a regular thing?

I took it in to the dealer and they said it was normal operation.

I was just concerned that this sounded a lot like a mechatronics failure. I searched this up and these symptoms were nearly identical to what they were describing but the dealer reassured me this was not the case. I wonder how you distinguish this from a mech failure though..
