I believe the parts number is 8J0 035 192 p or b.

I can't find one anywhere for sale - and not knowledgeable enough to buy an aftermarket unit that is compatible with steering wheel controls, etc.

Can someone please help me?

Search for 8J0 035 193 D.

You just need to get right harness to work with aftermarket radio/nav.

I bought a replacement RNS-E for my 2008 TT from oemplus.com

They had fast, courteous service and have more RNS-E options than are listed on their website if you contact them via email.

In my case I upgraded my failed old-style RNS-E to the higher-resolution 2010 model.
