Passenger door not opening/unlocking on 2008 Audi TT after having had some minor dents fixed by Auto Body Shop.

The door doesn't unlock either from the key fob or the auto door locks. I have to start the car, roll down the windows, get out of the car and open the passenger door using the inside latch (I can't reach across interior of car to open).

The remote is working on the driver's door and the trunk lock and the battery is good. I can hear the locking mechanism engaging whenever the appropriate remote button is depressed but no luck.

The body shop removed the passenger door and the handle to do the work but it is very inconvenient to take it back plus I'm sure they'll say it wasn't anything they did.

I tried following instructions on resetting locks if out of sequence, but still nothing

Anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do to correct this or do I have to take it back to the Body Shop?
