Problem with iphone 5s music and phone calls
Hi everyone - new Audi owner, and new to the forums - pardon if I've missed a post that answers this post.
Here's the deal - I have a new 2015 tts roadster (from what I believe its still the mkII). Has the navigation package. I've successfully bluetooth paired my iphone 5s.
However, when I make or recieve calls, I get a really odd music playing behavior from my phone.
Anyone have any ideas of how to prevent this? Its making bluetooth pairing useless.
Also - any smart thoughts on extending the cable from the glove box to make it more useable?
Again - sorry if this is answered elsewhere

- iphone connected and playing audio (audio a) not from the music app on iphone - a 3rd part app
- Phone call recieved
- iphone cuts out audio a, and starts to play audio from the music app downloaded on the phone (audio b), through the phone speakers very loud at the same time as the call is being played on the car speakers.
- This makes the call unlistenable.
- Call stops, audio b continues to play from car speakers

I have not seen that problem, but rather one where when connected via cable and Bluetooth crazy things happen. Call Audi. I've talked to them three times. Even on a Sunday. They walked me through fixes every time.

I would call Apple - I'm sure this is a known problem to them. Plus you can actually get through to their customer service quickly. Especially if you have AppleCare.
