Default Update - manually resetting "Service Due" warning

Resurrecting an old thread, but I just wanted to confirm that I was just able to reset my "Service Due" warning on my 2015 A4 using the following:
  • BAFX Products OBDII Diagnostics Interface, Android version ($22 on Amazon Prime); and
  • Carista App (Free) for Android. $10 in-app purchase.

Super easy - took less than 10 minutes once I got the OBDII connected to my tablet.

I had my oil changed from my local guy, who supposedly didn't have the equipment to get in an reset it. My local Audi dealer wanted $55 to do it, and said it would take an hour.

Carista is still offering the $10 in app Pro version? I thought they went to a subscription model recently.

Carissa App was a free download via Google Play. To reset the service due warning was a one-time $10 fee

Well, yes, but my Audi dealer has such nice snacks and coffee while I'm waiting for him to press that "reset" button. (VBG)

I'm a little confused with this thread. In the MMI, we can reset the service interval. After that, itis still "service required"?

Service interval.
In MMI->Car->service interval, we can see how many days/miles left before next service. scroll down, I can see reset service interval option.

Turn the MMI **** (scrolling) when you see the days/miles left, the reset option appears, at least on my Q5.

I just looked at my '11 A4 and do see it. I believe it only resets the oil change piece. Good find. However, it does not appear to reset the "inspection" piece.

I did a reset and it appears to have reset the oil change interval but on my car the service due warning is still showing.
